Job Summary​ ​

  • Full Time Position:

    • Week days

    • 4 hrs shifts

    • 8 hrs shifts

    • Off early every Friday

    • 1 Saturday a month only 4 hr shift

    • More Saturday shifts available if desired

    • Time off during the week if at 40 hrs working Saturday

  • Hired Expectations:

    • 2-3 week training period

    • 90 day grace period

    • 3 week notice if need to leave

  • PT Specific Caseload TREATMENTS - not just evals all day

    • One-on-one with patients.

    • Exercise trainers (technicians) to help each shift.

    • Supportive front and back end staff.

    • Appts 50-60 mins.

    • Patient age range 8 - 100 years old.​

Job Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Physical Therapy (required).

  • Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Texas (required).

  • Valid BLS certification (required).

  • Minimum 2-3 year PT experience (preferred).

  • Accurately assess patients with each visit for treatment needs.

  • Follow POC, HEP, and Prognosis for diagnosis as detailed by supervising physical therapists.

  • Be aware of Precautions, if required for diagnosis to safely treat.

  • Reach out to other PTs in office for guidance, concerns, and questions.

  • Document protocols for staff if patient details doctor’s orders change

  • Provide physical therapy treatment and patient care according to outpatient, state and federal regulations and professional guidelines.

  • Communicates and records patient's response to treatment plan, completing SOAP note, reevaluations and progress note.

  • Monitor patient's progress in your caseload with other therapists.

  • Modify treatment as allowed by the plan of care, recognizing complications/limitations associated with certain procedures as time progresses with patient treatments.

  • Collaborates and communicates with family and other health care staff modifications to patient's treatment process, progress, and discharge planning.Including other DPTs, PTs, Exercise Trainers, Doctors connected with clinic, Family and Front desk.

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards, standard precautions and compliance requirements for national and state medical practices to treat a patient safely.

  • Multitask to assist patients and other staff with a smooth work environment.

  • Team player to help with shifts or other staff needs as they arise as well as open communication for other staff members to assist you as needed.

  • Must be savvy with electronics.

  • English fluent (required).

  • Spanish intermediate of fluency (preferred).

    • One clinic → orthopedic treating: neck, back, hips, knees, some shoulders, feet and hands.

  • Staff: 9 licensed physical therapists

  • Exercise Trainers: 5 full time CPR certified trainers
