Owner, General Manager
William Classen, PT, PTA
William Classen is one of the owners and original founder of 1st Classen PT having started the practice in 2020. Will has been practicing physical therapy for over 13+ years. He received his Associates as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Mount Washington College in New Hampshire 2011. He is specialized in personal training which led to his love and curiosity for Physical Therapy. He has experience in a wide array of disciplines including orthopedics, sports medicine, cupping, and manual therapy— including shoulders and lower back specialty treatments. Will has managerial experience of 8+ yrs in orthopedic settings in Boston and 3+ yrs in Texas.
Will believes that at 1st Classen you will get “an honest and efficient” treatment with experienced therapists in a “one on one” setting. He believes this to be crucial to make one’s therapy experience “fun and effective” towards the journey to recovery.
In his free time Will enjoys working out and researching new advances in physical therapy and nutrition, and playing the bass at his local church.

Kristen Classen, PT, DPT, MaCP
Dr. Kristen Classen, PT, DPT is one of the owners of 1st Classen PT having started the practice in 2020. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy 2018 & Masters Certificate in Clinical Pathology 2015 from UMASS. Deciding between PA and DPT in 2010, she worked for 3 yrs CNA/Phlebotomy in Magnet Hospital Winchester MA Med Surge Floor, 3 years as trainer in Essex PT, and 6 yrs Office Staff for CMC NH. She also has personal training experience since 2000.
She has experience in a wide array of disciplines including orthopedics, spine, sports medicine, women's health, biomechanical foot evals, FCE, and Vertigo to name a few. She is also dry needle certified.
Kristen believes in treating holistically to correct imbalances, pain, and functional deficits.
She enjoys singing at church and is happy to pray for her staff and patients. In her spare time she enjoys running, biking, playing with her dogs and spending time with family & friends.​​​​
Therapy Manager
Allison Bivins, PT, PTA
Allison has been practicing physical therapy for 6 yrs and with 1st Classen PT for 3 years as our first PT hire. She received her Associates as a Physical Therapist Assistant from PIMA Medical Institute and a Bachelors in Kinesiology from the University of Houston.
She is specialized in orthopedics and has experience in a wide array of disciplines including sports medicine, women's health, vertigo treatments and gait & balance training.
Allison believes that each patient deserves hands on treatment combined with proper exercise to achieve maximum benefits of PT. In her spare time she enjoys playing and taking adventures with her family, working in her garden and being outside. ​

Assistant Office Manager
Kissa Zehra
Kissa has been working in the physical therapy industry and with 1st Classen PT for over 2 yrs. She has experience in a wide array of disciplines including; customer service, billing, insurance, front desk, training, and is currently the newest member of our management team.
Kissa loves interacting with patients and working with the staff everyday. In her spare time she enjoys going out for a walk, or for a hike in nature, spending time with family, enjoying socializing, and she also loves to travel.​

Front Desk Representative
Yesenia Moore
Yesenia is our amazing front desk representative who can help in English or Spanish. She is kind, and always eager to seek solutions for patients and staff alike.
Yesenia believes that making patients feels well is part of the experiences of feeling better. She is helping with scheduling, phone calls, and other office needs.
Yesenia is a devoted mother who loves spending time with family, walks & hiking through nature in cool evenings all year round. In her free time she curls up with a good murder mystery book, enjoys acrylic painting and sketching with charcoal.​​​​​​​​​​​

Penny Harper
Penny Harper is a dynamic business management professional with an MBA from LeTourneau University. With extensive senior executive experience, she has honed her expertise in accounting, change management, billing, and customer service, making her a versatile leader adept at driving organizational success.
Beyond her impressive career, Penny is a devoted mother who cherishes time with her kids. She also channels her creativity as a musician, playing in a cover band, and shares a passion for travel with her husband, exploring new destinations whenever they can.​​​​​​​​​​​

Collin Foley, PT, DPT
Dr. Collin Foley, PT, DPT has over 18 yrs of experience in the physical therapy field including hospital, home health, and outpatient. He has experience in orthopedics, surgical rehabilitation, gait/balance, and sports medicine. Dr. Foley is dry needle certified, certified mentor for students, and manual certified therapist.​​

Christopher Huynh, PT, DPT
Dr. Christopher Huynh, PT, DPT has graduated and passed is DPT license in April 2024. He got his undergraduate at UT 2019 (he's a longhorn, lol) and doctorate Angelo State 2024.
He believes functional activities help return people back to their every day lives. He is trained in pediatrics, orthopedics, and sports medicine.

Leah Brady, PT, DPT
Dr. Leah Brady, PT, DPT has been practicing physical therapy for 12+ years. She received her Associates as a Physical Therapist Assistant from San Jacinto College. She also received a Bachelors in Nutrition Science from University of Houston and has graduated passing her boards for DPT August 2024.
She has experience in a wide array of disciplines including sports medicine, functional training and was a manager for an aquatic facility for 2 years.
Leah believes that caring for each patient on a personal level and as an individual is key to quality therapy. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering for her church, spending time with family (including her crazy puppies) and being outdoors in the garden and being active.

Kristen Ferguson, PT, PTA
Kristen has been practicing physical therapy for and with the company for 3 years. She received her Associates as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Wharton County Junior College. She is specialized in women's health and orthopedic therapy and has experience in a wide array of disciplines including dry needling, scar tissue recovery & repair techniques, Schroth, McKenzie, myofascial release and more.
Kristen believes that incorporating manual interventions with exercise is an important key into healing. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and trying different foods.​

Kyra has been practicing physical therapy for 3 years and 2 yrs with 1st Classen Physical Therapy. She received her Associates as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Houston Community College. She is specialized in Orthopedic therapy and Women’s Health and has experience in a wide array of disciplines including pediatrics and manual therapies such as fascial release, Graston, and tissue recovery.
Kyra believes in a personalized approach to treatment, focusing on improving function and mobility to help her patients return to living life to the fullest. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, singing with her church, and spending time outdoors.​​​

Ashlyn has been practicing physical therapy for 2 years. She received her Associate's as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Houston Community College and a Bachelor's in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University.
She is specialized in orthopedic therapy and has experience in a wide array of disciplines including geriatrics and manual therapies such as fascial release, Graston, and tissue recovery.
Ashlyn believes that developing a program individualized to each person is truly important in healing and returning back to everyday life is needed. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. ​

Keiren Maglaqui, PT, PTA
Keiren Nigel Maglaqui has been practicing physical therapy for over a year. He received his Associates as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Houston Community College. He is specialized in orthopedic therapy and has experience in a wide array of disciplines including sports medicine, cupping, and manual therapy.
Keiren believes that patients deserve the best evidence based researched treatments in order to rehabilitate optimally and return back to a prior level of function or even greater than before. In his spare time he enjoys attending hip hop choreography classes, traveling, trying out new restaurants, and lifting weights at the gym.

Olivia Johnson, PT, PTA
Olivia Johnson received her Associates as a Physical Therapist Assistant from San Jacinto College and a Bachelors in Communication Studies from University of Houston-Downtown.
She has experience in a wide array of disciplines including sports medicine, cupping, manual therapy, balance & vertigo, and geriatrics. Olivia believes taking a personal approach to each patient's treatment is key in their recovery. Finding what a patient's goals are and helping them achieve them is her priority. And making it fun! In her spare time she enjoys trying out local coffee shops, cooking for her family, puzzles & the Houston Astros!​

Jake Langkamp, PT, PTA
Jake has over 1 year of physical therapy experience as a PTA and starting his career at 1st Classen PT. He received his associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Stark State College in Ohio and a Bachelors in Exercise Science from The University of Mount Union in Ohio.
He has an interest in sports medicine and working with athletes but enjoys working with every population.
Jake believes in helping patients achieve their therapy goals and maximizing their potential to return to their everyday life. In his spare time, he enjoys watching football and grilling out on his Blackstone.​​​​

Exercise Trainer
Nicholas Classen
Nick has been working in the Physical Therapy industry for 5 years. He has worked for multiple clinics as a tech and has much education in biomechanics and anatomy. He has experience in a wide array of disciplines including customer service, admin work, and exercise science.
Nick believes that physical therapy helps a patients overall health and he is always willing to aid in that cause. In his spare time he enjoys making wedding cakes, pastries, and loves to cook.

Kaila Hackett
Kaila has been working in the Physical Therapy industry for about 5 years. She received her bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration In Athletic Training From Texas Southern University .
She has well over 4 years of experience in sports medicine being an athletic trainer in collegiate sports and working in clinicals.
Kaila believes that health is wealth and that it is very beneficial to anyone no matter the age and physical conditions. In her spare time she enjoys working out, hanging out with her friends, exploring new restaurants and cooking. ​

Margie Matta
Margie is a professional Exercise Trainer who enjoys taking patients through their personal Home Exercise Program. She has six years of experience, an AA-Degree, and has completed PTA science courses. She is well accomplished at her job and continues to grasp knowledge in this field.
Margie finds great satisfaction in loving on people and providing the best patient care. She truly has a heart for the patient's recovery from injury, surgery, and illness. She demonstrates and explains the exercises clearly. She loves to serve her family, church and community, especially when they are hungry. She gravitates towards sports and at times is very competitive at ping-pong. She is always available to pray and give a hug to those who need it.​

Mason Keenan
Mason is an exercise trainer certified in CPR working with patients on form, body mechanics, and strengthening. Mason also assist with the front desk responsibilities and is often the smiling face that greets you when you walk in. Mason is currently pursuing his physical therapy degree. He has a bachelors from Texas State in Exercise & Sports Science in 2023. ​​​​​
Mason believes in a balance of strengthening and stretching to improve tissue during the healing process.
He likes watching Houston Sports, as well as outdoor activities (hiking, running).

Juliana is an exercise trainer certified in CPR working with training patients on form, body mechanics, and strengthening. She is also one of our Spanish Speaking staff members who enjoys helping translate when needed.​

Hunter is an exercise trainer certified in CPR working with training patients on form, body mechanics, and strengthening. Hunter also assist with the front desk and will often be the smiling face that greets you once a week. Hunter has a background in esports training.​​​​​
